Subscribing to a WebLearn calendar<\/h2>\n
There are three steps to the process of subscribing to a WebLearn calendar:<\/p>\n

- Generate<\/strong> the calendar\u2019s private URL from the WebLearn Schedule<\/strong> (Calendar) tool.<\/li>\n
- Either:\n
- \n
- Click <\/strong>on the webcal:\/\/ <\/strong>format of the URL, (recommended<\/strong>) <\/strong>or<\/li>\n
- Copy <\/strong>the http:\/\/ <\/strong>format of the URL, in order to paste it into the other calendaring application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The webcal:\/\/<\/strong> format of the URL provides other calendaring applications with the hint that \u201cthis is a calendar\u201d, so that they can handle it in the appropriate way.<\/p>\n
The http:\/\/<\/strong> format of the URL should work for nearly all calendaring applications and for most computer configurations; however the route is slightly more complicated. Using this format means that you copy the URL<\/strong> with the intention of pasting it into the other calendaring application using an option there such as \u201cAdd calendar from the Internet\u201d (or similar).<\/li>\n
- Subscribe to the WebLearn calendar from the external calendaring application.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
How to do it<\/h2>\n
Step 1:<\/h3>\n
Login to WebLearn and access the site and Schedule (Calendar) that you wish to subscribe to, click on ‘Subscribe<\/em>‘ and then ‘Generate<\/em>‘ to generate the calendar URL.<\/p>\n

Either click on the webcal:\/\/<\/strong> format of the private URL, or copy the http:\/\/<\/strong> format, depending on circumstance.<\/p>\n

- If you clicked on the webcal:\/\/<\/strong> format of the URL, then follow the automated process, accepting all the options offered.<\/li>\n
- If you copied the http:\/\/<\/strong> format of the URL, then open your other calendaring application in the usual way.\n
- \n
- Find the option to \u201cAdd calendar from the Internet\u201d or \u201cCreate a new calendar\u201d or \u201cAdd calendar by URL\u201d (or similar).<\/li>\n
- Paste the URL into the location window or URL box provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Your WebLearn calendar is now displayed alongside the events in the other application:<\/p>\n
